StoryX was born out of wanting to offer our clients greater value, challenging the notion that production companies are limited to the “doing”, and enabling us to bring creative solutions to business challenges.

Toast are a boutique agency, so it had to be affordable and couldn't monopolise resources.  We started by looking at three key factors - the work we want to generate; the challenges inherent to that work;  our in-house skills.

Authentic talent is the perfect tool for straddling channels in a fragmented media landscape, and an advocate’s following can bring media value and deliver brands to new audiences.

However, this work shows that finding the right talent is a challenge. Time pressure often limits choices, as research is a time-consuming process, and traditional methods aren’t particularly agile, often surfacing better-known stories.

AI was therefore the perfect tool for us to collaborate with, giving us the ability to deep search a plethora of diverse data and produce a volume of specific actionable leads fast.

THE STORYX PROCESS

For any project connected to authentic talent we are using StoryX to elevate our response to clients. We are also using it for proactive ideation to clients, requiring no effort or obligation on their side.

We develop a simple brief to input into StoryX that included keywords, the kind of profile we want the story and/or contributor to have, location and media value etc.

The results produce names of real people or entities, a brief description of why they’ve been chosen and links to sources, to enable access. Our team then takes this information, reviews the output and produces ideas on talent and/or stories.
